Hand-Crafted Deck Templates
Every project at Boateek begins with a precise template. Our experts conduct a detailed measure-up of the marine floor area to be fitted with foam marine decking, ensuring a perfect fit.
As standard practice, we include the templating service in our price for the job. This ensures we gather all the necessary information for absolute accuracy.
Optional: If you wish to create the templates yourself, you can send them to us for fabrication. Please mention this upon enquiry if this is your preference.
Choice of Colours and Customisation
Once your deck has been templated, you can customise the look of your new synthetic foam flooring.
Our skilled design team can create an array of different patterns, limited only by your imagination, in addition to our standard design patterns. We also offer a laser engraving service for logos or entire deck designs. Contact us for more information on logo or text engraving.

Each decking project is hand-crafted in our workshop, tailored precisely to your specifications and desired finish. Once fabricated, we will come and install the deck for you.

Existing Decking Removal
Before upgrading to new foam marine decking, you may need to remove existing decking. Our team can handle the removal of old teak, foam et cetera and prepare the deck area for the new Aquadeck marine decking.

As your trusted distributor and installer, we ensure that your decking remains in top condition for years to come. Here’s how you can maintain and care for your foam marine decking:
General Cleaning
Regular maintenance of your Aquadeck foam marine decking is simple and effective. Clean your decking regularly using warm water, soap, and a stiff brush. Boat washing soap or any mild detergent, along with water and a hose, works exceptionally well. Although Aquadeck is designed to be stain-resistant, it's best to clean or rinse away any spills, such as food, wine, or grease, promptly. For tougher stains, work the cleaner into the stain with a stiff brush, brushing parallel to the grain texture, and rinse thoroughly with a hose.
Storage Tips
Aquadeck foam marine decking is highly resistant to various weather conditions and is designed to withstand the elements while in use. However, to extend the life of your decking, we recommend keeping it covered or storing it indoors when not in use. Treat and maintain your Aquadeck flooring similarly to carpet or other floor coverings. Excessive, continuous exposure to sunlight and water can reduce the lifespan of your decking.
Things to Avoid
To maintain the integrity and appearance of your Aquadeck foam marine decking, avoid the following:
- Dragging sharp objects such as knives or tools across the surface.
- Using pressure washers, as they may shred or cut the mats.
- Allowing extended contact with petroleum-based products, which can cause non-removable stains.
How to Address an Air Bubble
While it is rare, air bubbles can form under the mats due to expansion and contraction from heat and cold. Inspect your decking thoroughly after installation to ensure no air bubbles are present. If you find any, use a straight pin or needle to deflate the bubble and apply pressure to glue it down on the deck. Please note that air bubbles are not covered under Aquadeck’s warranty, so addressing them promptly is crucial to avoid future problems.
Material Note
Aquadeck foam has a memory feature, meaning it will return to its original shape after temporary indentations. If you notice an indent when you remove a cover or where a weighted object has been resting, the mat will rebound over a short period.
